• California utility undergrounding project advances toward 2027 pole removal (undergroundinfrastructure.com) — Del Mar's utility undergrounding project is moving ahead, with the City Council setting readiness deadlines for properties in Undergrounding District X1A so overhead lines and poles can start coming down by spring 2027. If your property is in Work Zone 3, you'll need to meet the city's underground-service preparation dates to avoid delays and ensure a smooth conversion.
   

• Legal Notices, September 25, 2026 (thecoastnews.com) — Del Mar residents are being asked to weigh in on new parking changes near Stratford Court and Ocean Avenue, as well as updated citywide speed limits at an October 6 council hearing. The city is also seeking contractor bids for a $1.2 million San Dieguito Drive roadway and drainage upgrade, which will directly affect traffic and safety between Racetrack View Drive and Oribia Road.
