Regents Bank Regional Managers Promoted to Executive Management
Regents Bank promotes Stephen Friedman and Jon Michael Caffall to its executive team

Regents Bank recently promoted Stephen Friedman and Jon Michael Caffall to its executive team. Friedman and Caffall, formerly Senior Vice Presidents, assume the new title of Executive Vice President/Regional Manager. Friedman continues to oversee Regents Bank’s La Jolla headquarters office, and Caffall continues to oversee Regent’s North County region, including offices in Vista and Escondido.
“Both Stephen and Jon Michael have demonstrated leadership and success in consistently growing our bank,” said Steven D. Sefton, president of Regents Bank. “The growth they helped us achieve is a testament to their ability to deliver valuable services and advice to our clients.”
As part of the executive team, Friedman and Caffall will continue to manage their offices and are responsible for developing, managing and expanding commercial loan and depository relationships for small to mid-sized businesses as well as varied real estate transactions throughout San Diego County. Friedman joined the bank in 2009 and Caffall joined the bank in 2005.

A resident of Carmel Valley, California, Friedman is a participating member of Renaissance Group, Provisors, Business Executive Council and Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
A resident of Vista, California, Caffall supports the Vista Optimist Club and has arranged for Regents Bank to sponsor an Optimist Club fundraiser event. Personally, he also supports Disabled American Veterans and the American Diabetes Association.
