San Diego County Sheriff's Department: AMTRAK Train Vs. Pedestrian Collision

On 12/02/2021, at approximately 1405 hours, an AMTRAK train was traveling southbound approaching the Old Town Transit Center located at 4005 Taylor Street in the city of San Diego, county of San Diego. When the train entered the Transit Center it struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian involved in the collision suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. The San Diego Sheriff's Department Transit Enforcement Unit is investigating the incident.
