San Diego County Sheriff's Department: Homicide Investigation – Spring Valley

On December 10, 2021, just after 11:00 p.m., Sheriff's deputies responded to the 8900 block of Delrose Avenue in Spring Valley for a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found a man who had been shot inside an apartment. Deputies provided lifesaving measures until relieved by fire department personnel. Unfortunately, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The suspect fled the scene prior to the deputies arriving.

The Sheriff's Homicide Unit responded and has assumed responsibility of the investigation.
