San Diego County Sheriff's Department: Update #2: Homicide Investigation – Imperial Beach

Sheriff's Homicide detectives continued their investigation and identified forty-seven-year-old Marco "Marky" Antonio Valadez Jr. as the suspect in the murder of his half-brother, thirty-five-year-old Marco "Tony" Antonio Valadez Jr., and his stepmother, fifty-five-year-old Raquel Pitsenberger.  Marky is a resident of the city of San Diego and is a citizen of the United States.   

The San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force worked with authorities in Mexico to locate Marky.  Yesterday afternoon, authorities in Mexico arrested Marky and he was turned over to the task force at the San Ysidro Port of Entry.  He was later booked into the San Diego Central Jail for two counts of 187(a) PC – Murder. 

The criminal case has been filed with the San Diego District Attorney's Office.  Further media inquiries should be directed to the District Attorney's Office.
