Davanti’s twist on Italian cuisine is exemplified in the summer menu packed with just-picked ingredients such as yellow peaches, pickled apricots, watermelon and heirloom tomatoes. Seasonal dishes include Crispy Pork Belly + pattypan squash + orange glaze and pizza topped with truffle oil + braised leeks + seasonal mushrooms + taleggio.

Davanti Enoteca’s mixologists have created a summer cocktail list to suit the season. Selections include the Organic Skinny Paloma, St. Templeton and the Italian Mule to name a few.

Afternoon Hours Get Happier

From 3 to 6 p.m., guests can count on Davanti Enoteca for a range of $5 drinks including the signature Davanti Spritz. Happy Hour dishes are priced from $4 and include Bruschetta, the famous Davanti Burger, Crispy Pork Ribs prepared with gorgonzola slaw + hazelnuts + bacon + house made saba and much more. Following Friday night Happy Hour, stay for live jazz, courtesy of Del Mar Highlands Town Center, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Have Sunday Funday All Weekend Long

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, guests can nosh on summer brunch items like Lemon Ricotta Pancakes + lemon curd + blueberries and Avocado Toast, combining smashed avocado + lime + chili flake + sunny-side egg + roasted tomato. Brunch cocktails such as the Leonardo, made with Prosecco + strawberry juice, top off this experience.

“Our new menu and atmosphere are designed to transport guests back to Italy, if only for a meal,” said Maris Laipenieks, general manager of Davanti Del Mar. “Between our fashionable crowd, great food and our lively atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to getaway.
