Urban Pi Dishes Up Make-Your-Own Pizzas

Urban Pi, which opened in December 2012 in Del Mar, features custom-made artisan pizzas. Urban Pi uses fresh, locally sourced, and whenever possible, organic ingredients in all of its dishes. Every pizza, salad and dessert is made fresh daily from scratch, with gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available.

Patrons can order pizzas directly off the menu or mix and match ingredients to create their own. The pizzas are fired up in the oven behind the counter and guaranteed to be ready within five minutes or less.

The restaurant also features five unique beers on tap, including Eel River Organic Amber Ale, Fishtale Organic Winterfish, Uinta Wyld Extra Pale Ale and Bison Organic IPA.

The restaurant is ideal for large groups or families, with indoor seating and a spacious outdoor patio.
