WANTED: Man Uses Credit Cards Stolen From Fumigated Del Mar Home, Cops Say
Investigators say the cards were used at Target, Walmart and Macy's stores in Chula Vista.

Del Mar, CA — Authorities released surveillance images Thursday of a man suspected of breaking into a Del Mar residence while it was being fumigated, stealing items including credit cards from the home, then using the cards to make purchases from South Bay stores.
The burglary allegedly happened between June 13 and June 16 while a duplex in the 1900 block of Coast Boulevard in Del Mar was being fumigated, according to San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station.
Authorities said whomever ransacked the duplex made off with $20,000 worth of electronics, jewelry, purses and credit cards.

On June 15 and 16, the credit cards of the three people who live in the duplex were allegedly used at Target, Walmart and Macy's stores in Chula Vista.
Investigators asked anyone who recognizes the suspect in the surveillance images or has information pertaining to the case to come forward.

They described the suspect as a Latino or white man between 30 and 40 years old. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and has a shaved head and a goatee. He was wearing a white-and-gray striped shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers, and has tattoos covering both his arms and on the left side of his neck. He was seen leaving the store in a gold 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, investigators said.
Anyone with information in the case should call the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station at 760-966-3500 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in the case. Anonymous email and text messages can be sent in via Sdcrimestoppers.org.
