WOW First Wednesdays: Semisi & FulaBula

Join Semisi & FulaBula at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido for the last WOW First Wednesdays concert of the 2014-15 season!

Wednesday, June 3rd, 4:00PM and 7:00PM

Hailing from the South Pacific islands of Tonga, San Diego-based musician Semisi Ma’u mixes Polynesian rhythms with other musical styles to create what he calls “Bula Music,” named after a Fijian greeting. His two sons, Keli Ross-Ma’u, on steel drums and keyboard, and multi-instrumentalist Tonga Ma’u make up FulaBula.

Tickets to the show are FREE and handed out on a first-come, first-seated basis. Doors open one hour prior to show time, and shows fill up fast, so early arrival is strongly recommended. If you’d like to beat the line, reserved seats are also available for $12. Find out more about the show here: http://artcenter.org/event/wow-first-wednesdays-semisi-fulabula/
