• Desert Hot Springs Woman Arrested After Mistaking Police Task Force for ICE Agents (crimevoice.com) — Desert Hot Springs police say a local woman was arrested after allegedly driving recklessly around a June 8 sex‑offender compliance operation and failing to yield to detectives’ emergency lights. Officers report she ultimately stopped at the police station, where she was detained and cited for reckless driving, driving without a valid license, and misdemeanor evading, as the department reiterated it does not assist with federal immigration enforcement.
