9 Arrested in Pomona Prostitution Sting

POMONA, CA - Nine people were arrested on suspicion of loitering with intent to commit prostitution along the East and West Holt Avenue corridor in Pomona, a police sergeant said Sunday.

Also, two people were arrested on suspicion of soliciting or agreeing to engage in an act of prostitution during the Friday night enforcement period, according to Pomona police Sgt. V. Terrrell.

Terrell said similar operations are scheduled to take place in the near future.
