The Lorbeer Girls Volleyball team recently won their league championship. They played teams from the 5 other middle schools in the Pomona Unified School District. They were undefeated in league and playoffs winning all matches and never giving up any games. The team was led by head coach and teacher Mary Campbell and assistant coaches Jeff Tolentino and Jake Maldonado. Team members were Marina Roski, Jackie Graves, Vicki Zaluske, Loryn Carter, Alicia Manzano, Christian Crossan, Devyn Bagwell, Natalie Gil, Sarah Otto, Chloe Sciortino, Katherine Abrantes, Allyssa Ingalla, and Sarah Kretschmar.
