Area Man Shot in Upper Torso

An 18-year-old man in Pomona was shot in the upper torso and police today are asking the public's help in locating a car that may be connected to the attack.

Paramedics rushed the shooting victim to an area hospital following the shooting in the 1600 block of Berkeley Avenue, according to a department statement. He was said to be in good condition

Police were dispatched to the scene at 10:30 p.m. Friday, according to the statement.

A silver, two-door Acura Legend was seen leaving the scene and might be connected to the shooting.
