Benjies NY Deli & Restaurant and Avenue K Bar Celebrates 50th Anniversary in October

Santa Ana, CA – September 11, 2017 - Benjies NY Deli & Restaurant and Avenue K Bar will celebrate its 50th anniversary in October. Owner, Lloyd Weinstein said “We will have some of our customers favorite menu items special pricing, surprises during the weekend with giveaways, opportunity drawings, dining specials and drink specials inside our newly remodeled bar Avenue K”.

“The anniversary weekend party is our way of saying thank-you to so many Orange County customers” said Weinstein. “It begins on Thursday, October 5, 2017 with a reception for civic and community leaders, legislators, long-time patrons, restaurant writers and vendors. It continues with special events throughout the weekend- Friday, Saturday and Sunday during regular business hours, for the general public” he noted.

• During the week of October 2, coffee will be $0.67 with refills.
• On Friday, October 6, Benjies Famous Corned Beef or Pastrami sandwich with your choice of potato salad, cole slaw or macaroni salad will be $5.00 from 11 a.m. until closing. (Dine in only)
• October 6th (Friday) through Sunday the 8th( all patrons will receive 20% off their bill with some exclusions.

Benjies NY Deli & Restaurant is Orange County’s iconic deli where people always feel part of the family are welcomed by familiar faces. Some of the staff have been there for over 40 years. The newly appointed Avenue K Bar brings millennial guests in to taste craft beers, specialty cocktails, happy hour apps and tasty food from the regular menu.

Benjies has been owned and operated by the Weinstein family since 1967. Stan Weinstein the founder, brought his dream to life and now his son Lloyd Weinstein along with his wife Noriko have continued Stan’s legacy since his passing in 2000.

Benjies offers a true New York style deli experience right here in Orange County. Known for their large portions and vast menu selections, there is always something for everyone. The traditional Reuben sandwich, soul warming Matzo Ball soup and authentic Jewish style desserts will make your mouth water.

Benjies is located at 1828 N. Tustin Ave, Santa Ana, CA (just north of 17th Street) and is open Monday – Thursday 8am to 9pm, Friday 8am to 10pm, Saturday 7am to 10pm and Sunday 7am to 9pm. Avenue K is open Monday – Friday from 11am to 10pm, Saturday 8:30am to 10:pm and Sunday 8:30am to 9pm.
