The side slit was a common feature on many prom dresses this year and one of our personal favorite trends. When finding the perfect shoes, this year's attendees didn't go with a pair that match their dress exactly.

Instead, many decide to wear cute comfotable shoes in a different color that complimented the dress. Although updo hairstlyes add a polished finish to any prom dress, big luscious curls seemed to be the most popular hairstyle.

Okay, I know what you're thinking-- enough about the ladies, what about the guys?

Well, some of this year's gentlemen decided to take a little bit of a risk and ditch the classic black suit for a white suit. Diamond Bar High School Senior, Adam Kashe went out on the limb with this fashion trend matching his white suit with a black vest and bowtie.

Keeping it traditional, he wore classic dress shoes as he matched his date perfectly. Nevertheless, both Adam and his date Chelsea proved to be one of the best dressed couples at this year's prom. With a style like this-- prom was definitely a night to remember.
