Diamond Bar Boys, Girls, Diamond Ranch Boys In CIF Soccer Playoffs
Diamond Bar boys must first play a wild-card game Wednesday to advance to the first round.
The boys and girls soccer teams from Diamond Bar High School begin play in the CIF playoffs this week.
The girls team, the No. 3 team from the Hacienda League, play a Division 3 first-round game at La Canada Flintridge Prep Thursday at 3 PM. Flintridge Prep was the champion of the Prep League. A victory would move the Brahmas into the second round on Feb. 22.
Diamond Bar’s boys will need to win a wild-card game on Wednesday to advance to the first round of the Division 4 playoffs.

The fourth place entrant from the Hacienda League, the Brahmas play at Pasadena La Salle, with the winner moving to a first-round game at Pacific League champion Crescenta Valley on Friday.
The boys team from Diamond Ranch, the second-place finisher in the Hacienda League, plays at home in a first-round Division 4 game against Whittier La Serna on Friday. Second round games for the boys will be held on Feb. 23.

Championship games in all divisions, boys and girls, will be held March 4 and 5.
