Diamond Ranch High School defeated Bellflower High 35-33 Friday night during round one of the CIF-Southern Section football playoffs.
The game was played at home. The Panthers went into the game ranked second in the Hacienda League, with the Bellflower Buccaneers number three in the Suburban League.
