City Birthday Party

Join your friends and neighbors in celebrating the City’s 23rd year of incorporation with carnival rides, games, classic cars, top entertainment, and giveaways.

Considered the largest annual City-hosted event, the celebration will take place at Pantera Park, 738 Pantera Drive from 11 am to 5pm (Teen Action Zone open until 6pm) and feature plenty of things for the entire family to see and do, including the following:

  • Business Showcase featuring community-based products and services for your home, health and recreational activities.
  • Car Show displaying several dozen classic cars and hot rods.
  • Disaster Preparedness Display with information on how to prepare for and protect yourself and your family for an emergency, including onsite production of free KidPrint cards containing your child’s emergency-vital information such as fingerprints, height, weight, and date of birth.
  • Environmental Section with tips and rebate information to help you green up your lifestyle, and Earth Day crafts for children.
  • Games and Rides, including a 48-foot tall Ferris wheel, a jumbo slide 100 feet in length, bumper cars, and a merry-go-round. Also, bounce houses and crafts for younger visitors.
  • Local Entertainment ranging from choreographed dances to martial arts.
  • Outstanding Volunteer Recognition Ceremony to celebrate this year’s honorees.
  • Birthday Cake immediately following volunteer recognitions.

Free off-site parking will be available at Pantera Elementary School and the surrounding neighborhood, with continuous free shuttle service provided from each location to the park, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
