Hacienda League Standings Roundup

After two weeks of high school football, here is how the Hacienda League standings look for our local area high school teams.

• Los Altos (2-0) - Defeated Bellflower 27-0 to win their second consecutive game. This week Los Altos will travel to Wilson High School who last week lost 40-13 against Diamond Bar.
• West Covina (1-1) - Lost at home against Loyola 35-7. This Friday night they will play South Hills at home.
• Bonita (1-1) - In a close game at home to Claremont, the Wildcats lose the game by a score of 18-15. Bonita will play at home versus La Serna this Friday night.
• Rowland (1-1) - After a big season opener victory over their interdistrict rivals, the Nogales Nobles, the Raiders are unable to keep the momentum in Week 1 as they lose to California 41-14. This week the Raiders will go out on the road to face Rosemead.
• Diamond Bar (1-1) - The Brahmas offense exploded in Week 1 as they get the 40-13 victory over Wilson. This Friday night the Brahmas travel out to Chino to play Don Lugo. The Conquestadors are 2-0 in the Mt. Baldy league standings.
• Walnut (0-2) - Last week's 35-14 loss against Troy gives the Mustangs their second consecutive loss. This Friday night the Mustangs will host Claremont high school who is 2-0 in the Sierra League.
• Diamond Ranch - The Panther's non-league schedule proves yet again to be a tough one as Diamond Ranch is 0-2 with a 13-6 loss to Damien. This Friday night the Panthers travel to Wildomar to play Elsionire who is 2-0 in the Sunbelt League.
