CACM Certified, Professional Community Association Managers Drive Success for HOAs in Los Angeles County, California

LAGUNA HILLS, CALIF. – The California Association of Community Managers (CACM), the state’s leading education provider for homeowners association (HOA) management professionals, today launched the third phase of its Community Champions awareness campaign to residents of Los Angeles County.
Part of a statewide program, the Community Champions campaign aims to raise the importance of CACM’s California-specific Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) designation and build awareness among homeowners about the valuable role community association managers have in overseeing the more than 50,000 common interest developments (CIDs) or HOAs in California.
“In Los Angeles County alone, there are about 1.2 million residents living in more than 15,000 HOA-managed communities. Many of these HOAs are run by professionally trained community association managers,” said CACM’s newly appointed President and CEO David Zepponi. “These managers are champions for their communities and have tremendous responsibility for the residents they serve. Whether it’s guiding volunteer HOA boards through complicated issues like finances, state legislation and neighborhood resolution, or overseeing all aspects of property maintenance, community managers have a huge impact on the lives of millions of Californians. CACM is proud to take part in helping others recognize the important role they play.”
