Lockett Stands by Kardashian Relationship
Bret Lockett backed up the story reported at In Touch Weekly where he stated that he had a relationship with Kim Kardashian while she was engaged to New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries.

graduate Bret Lockett, now a defensive end for the New England Patriots, stood by his statement that he carried on a relationship with celebrity Kim Kardashian while she was engaged to another professional athlete.
"I have phone records, pictures, and texts," Lockett said on the celebrity news show TMZ Live, "Kim knows what happened and I know what happened."
Lockett did not detail the nature of their relationship, but said that he first met Kardashian through his younger brother Colin, another Diamond Bar High alumnus, who was dating a close friend of Kardashian's, actress Lauren London.

Lockett said he did not know that Kardashian was engaged at the time.
"I wasn't aware she was dating Kris Humphries at the time," Lockett told TMZ. "She asked my brother for my number and I got a call 10 minutes later."

Lockett expressed to TMZ that In Touch Magazine approached him and informed him they were going to leak their relationship whether he participated or not and that Kardashian had released a statement saying she has never spoke to or met Lockett.
From then on, Lockett said he was compelled to share his side of the story. He added that London contacted his brother Colin today regarding the allegations.
Shortly after the interview, Lockett's Twitter profile photo was changed to an image of him with duct tape over his mouth and a message on his cheek, reading "No H8."
The New England Patriot has been on the injury list for the 2010 season and was working on his music endeavors and looking to stardom beyond the football field.
Kardashian has issued a statement that she will sue In Touch and Lockett for defamation of character.
Lockett is scheduled to return to his alma mater later this month his second annual football camp at Diamond Bar High School on Saturday, June 25.
