Man Shot, Killed Near Valinda Motel

VALINDA, CA - A man was killed Sunday in Valinda, possibly in or near a motel parking lot.

The death in the 500 block of North Azusa Avenue occurred at 2:24 a.m., said Deputy Lisa Jansen of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Jansen said.

Witnesses said a pedestrian was hit and killed in or near a motel parking lot. But investigators have not confirmed this.
