Morgan's Goal Helps US Beat Australia
The Diamond Bar native scores the equalizing goal in a 2-1 victory over Australia at the Home Depot Center.
A blistering left-footed shot from Alex Morgan tied the score as the United States rallied from a goal down to beat Australia 2-1 Sunday at the Home Depot Center in Carson.
Shannon Boxx scored the eventual game-winner, as the United States continued on its Fan Tribute Tour following the gold-medal winning performance at the London 2012 Olympics.
The two teams will play again Wednesday in Denver.
