Open to people 13 and older who live, work, or attend school in Diamond Bar, the evening session includes Q&A, refreshments, and door prizes, but requires advance registration.
   

• Pool supply giant closes 8 stores across the Bay Area (newsbreak.com) — Diamond Bar residents who rely on Leslie's for pool supplies should know the company is closing its store at 222 Diamond Bar Blvd. as part of a nationwide bankruptcy restructuring. While many Bay Area locations are also shutting down, the chain says other California stores will continue operating as it works to cut debt and stabilize its finances.
