Sheriff's Youth Foundation Introducing New Food Program

It is participating in the USDA's Child and Adult Care Food Program.

On Monday, the Sheriff's Youth Foundation of Los Angeles announced that it is taking part in the federally funded Child and Adult Care Food Program, which provides free, healthy food to enrolled children.

For children in the Diamond Bar and Walnut area, the program will take place at the Walnut Sheriff's Youth Activity Center at Carolyn Rosas Park, 18500 Farjardo St., Rowland Heights.

The Sheriff’s Youth Foundation was created in 1985, with the idea that crime prevention programs that focus on young people are the key to building safe communities. The USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program provides more than 3 million children nutritious meals and snacks.
