Summitridge Park has three trails, and the Ridge Route is the winner.

Diamond Bar Patch readers , and the winner of Reader’s Choice: Best Hike is Summitridge Park Trail - Ridge Route.

Summitridge Park has three trails, and to get to the Ridge Route, hikers must take a newly-built path made of decomposed granite. Beautiful views of Diamond Bar can be seen at the top of the first slope, about one-quarter of a mile from the beginning of the trail. Going east, there is a flat pad with views of Tres Hermanos and the Arnold Reservoir. Keep going on the trail and you’ll reach a fork, which leads to either the Canyon Loop or back to Summitridge Park.

According to the city, the trails are habitat for rattlesnakes, and the paths may be a bit uneven due to loose rocks and erosion.
