He was found after a boater notified authorities that a body was floating in the water roughly one mile west of Mare Island. The Solano County sheriff’s marine patrol unit responded to the area at approximately 3:40 p.m. Sunday, according to sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Daryl Snedeker.
The body was reportedly transported to a U.S. Coast Guard station in Vallejo, where coroner’s officials took possession of Ziroyan’s remains, Snedeker said.
