Cops Investigate Shooting in Fairfield

Police are investigating a Thursday shooting in Fairfield that left a man in critical condition.

Officers responded at 4:45 p.m. to the 100 block of Villa Court after receiving several calls of a shooting. As officers were responding to the scene, a 32-year-old Fairfield man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds arrived at the hospital, police said.

Investigators went at the hospital and determined the victim was shot on Villa Court, police said.

The victim was listed in critical condition Thursday night, police said. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Fairfield police at (707) 428-7600.
