High-Risk Convicted Sex Offender Is Asking To Move To Unincorporated Fairfield

The Solano County Sheriffβs Office is holding a community meeting this evening on the release of a high-risk convicted sex offender.
Fraisure Smith, who was convicted in 2006 and served a prison term for assault with intent to commit rape, has filed a petition with Solano County Superior Court to be released at a residence on Willotta Drive in unincorporated Fairfield, sheriffβs officials said.
Todayβs community meeting regarding Smithβs placement is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Clayton Fire Station at 4965 Clayton Road in unincorporated Fairfield. Sheriffβs officials will answer questions and address concerns about Smithβs proposed placement. Smith is currently at Coalinga State Hospital.
