Cross Country: Seven Dixon Runners Medal at Bret Harte Invitational
Kemper finished second for freshman boys, Burton and Sanders finish 6th and 7th for JV boys.

The cross country team had seven runners earn medals in the Bret Harte Invitational at the Calavares Country Fairgrounds on Saturday.
Justin Kemper, Eric Burton, T.J. Kennedy, Stephen Vidmar, Coy Chance, Anthony McDermott and Allen Sanders all earned hardware for the Rams.
Kemper earned a second place finish in the freshman boys two-mile race to be the highest finishing Dixon runner.

Burton and Sanders finished sixth and seventh in the JV boys three-mile race. Kennedy and Vidmar finished 12th and 17th in the same race.
McDermott finished 10th out of 166 runners in the boys varsity race. Chance placed 10 spots behind McDermott in 20th.

The Rams will race in their first Golden Empire League meet today at William Jessup University in Rocklin today at 3:30 p.m. Dixon will also race at the Yolo County Championship Invitational this Saturday.
