Dear Dixon: Save The Date And Volunteer For Drainage-Pond Clean-Up!

DIXON, CA – Dixon volunteers are needed for Saturday, Sept. 17, a date deemed the annual “Coastal Cleanup Day.”

And while this exact area may not have a coast, the region does have storm drain ponds that drain to the delta and eventually the Pacific Ocean, according to city organizers.

Volunteers are needed for a few hours to clean up trash in the drainage pond on Parkway Boulevard near the Bristol Apartments, also known as “Pond A.”

Volunteers will need to sign a hold harmless form. If the volunteer is under 18, a parent needs to sign. The form is available at http://www.ci.dixon.ca.us/DocumentCenter/View/331
