Deputies, HazMat Squad Investigate Possible Meth Lab In Fairfield

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Sheriff's deputies and firefighters were at the scene of an alleged methamphetamine lab in Fairfield until early this morning.

The Solano County Sheriff's Office announced on social media Monday around 9 p.m. that its special enforcement team, along with narcotics detectives and a hazardous materials team, were at the scene of the apparent meth lab in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

"Deputies assigned to the Sheriff's Enforcement Team (SET) were looking for a wanted man in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Fairfield, when they came across what is believed to be a methamphetamine manufacturing operation, more commonly known as a meth lab," the agency said. "Meth labs are highly volatile and pose an extreme danger to the public."

As of early this morning, no arrests were made, and no further information was immediately available.
