β€œSuch talented students made for a fantastic show,” boasted mom and dance photographer, Rena Santa Cruz, whose daughter has been with Dixon Dance Studio for seven years.

Eight year-old Leanna Gietler was exciting to show off her skills at her first dance recital, after nearly a year of dance lessons. β€œShe has grown so much, she can do things now she couldn’t do three months ago,” says Gietler’s mom, Melanie, β€œI danced with them [Dixon Dance Studio] when they first opened, the studio is awesome, I’m so proud.”

Beene credits parents for the businesses success. β€œTeaching dance and mentoring our students is extremely rewarding for Amy and I, especially during recital season,” she said, "Turn Up the Music" was an excellent way for our dancers to exhibit their professionalism, hard work and dedication throughout the year. We are amazed by the talent we have in Dixon and it's apparent from the outcome of this weekend, that many others feel the same way too. We are extremely humbled to have such a successful business with a supportive group of students and parents.”
