Kelly Knox (35), of Dixon was arrested per 11377(a)H&S, possession of methamphetamine. Knox was cited and released from the scene. Jones was transported and booked into Solano County Jail.

1655 Agency assist for CHP who was attempting to overtake a vehicle in excess of 100mph on n/b SR113 toward the City of Dixon. DPD units intercepted the vehicle as it entered the city and then pursued it as returned s/b on SR113. The vehicle, a gold 2007 Lexus 350, spun out of control on Cook Ln. The driver, Rommel Tacorda Aquino, 39, of San Francisco, then intentionally rammed a pursuing DPD unit head on and fled on foot. Aquino was apprehended following a foot pursuit and eventually booked into the Solano County Jail on the following charges: 2800.2(a) CVC-felony eluding, 245(a)(1) PC-assault with a deadly weapon(vehicle), 148(a)(1) PC-resisting arrest, 11377a H&S-possession of methamphetamine, 14601.1(a) CVC-drive while suspended, and 594(a)(3) PC-vandalism ( Aquino was able to bend and break the handcuffs securing him to a gurney while being medically cleared at the hospital and while transported to the jail ).
