Dixon Unified School District Kicks Off Cross Country Program for Elementary Schools

With the support of administrators, teachers and parent volunteers , the Dixon School District has introduced cross country at each of the three elementary schools this fall. Students from Tremont, Gretchen Higgins and Anderson School are excited about the chance to run against their grade level peers.

This past Friday, September 26 at Anderson School over three hundred students from the three elementary schools gathered to compete against one another. The meet was open to students in kindergarten through sixth grade, boys and girls.
