Ramtown Karate Self Defense Seminar

Friday Dec. 10th Ramtown Karate is presenting a two-hour self defense course designed for people interested in practical methods to avoid and survive attacks.  This seminar is designed to instil basic habits that could save your life. We will practice state of the art methods that increase your odds of survival. You will learn to recognize and avoid potential threats before they happen, and act while there is still time. You will learn methods to stun and escape, and propel your escape to safety with keys and other weapons within your immediate reach.   Topics include: awareness and avoidance, recognizing escalation and danger, practical escapes, strikes that stun, recognizing the adrenaline reaction, and gain confidence through practice against a suited attacker.  No prior martial arts training needed.  This seminar is presented by Jim Ernest, 6th degree Black Belt, former peace officer, bouncer and body guard.  The cost is $25 per person, Friday Dec. 10th from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Ramtown Karate, 1680 North Lincoln St. Dixon CA, 707 678 4899, ramtownkarate.com.
