Fairfield Murder Suspect Arrested In Sacramento
The 24-year-old was wanted in connection with slaying of man at apartment complex on Alaska Avenue.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Detectives have arrested a parolee suspected of killing a man in October, according to Fairfield police.
Vashawn Davis, a 24-year-old Fairfield man, was identified as a suspect by investigators and located by corrections officers Monday in Sacramento around 12 p.m.
Davis was transported to Solano County and booked into jail on suspicion of murder, as well as for violating the terms of his parole.

Investigators say Davis is suspected of fatally shooting Jonathan Cottonham, 26, Oct. 28 in the 500 block of Alaska Avenue. Cottonham was a resident of San Francisco.
Police say the case remains under investigation.
