Female Attacked Monday Night On Marenda Drive in Dixon
The victim told police that she was choked and struck in the head by an unknown man .

On 10/27/2014 at approximately 10:37 PM a female victim was assaulted by an unknown male assailant in the 1500 block of Marenda Drive in Dixon. The victim was struck over the head and choked.
The victim was able to successfully fight off her assailant, who fled the scene by unknown means. The motive for this incident is currently unknown.

The suspect is described as an African-American male adult, approximately 30 years old, 6 foot tall and 170 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with dark pants.
