Announcement from the City of Dixon:

The period for Write-in Candidates to obtain and file nomination papers for the November 4, 2014 Election ends at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014.

Interested citizens should contact the Dixon City Clerk to obtain the necessary paperwork.

ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2014

There will be two four-year Dixon City Council positions open for the November 4, 2014 Election. The incumbents for those positions are:

Dane Besneatte (eligible to run for a second term)

Thom Bogue (eligible to run for a second term)

During the Official Nomination Period, July 14, 2014 through August 8, 2014, six candidates, including the two incumbents, filed and were qualified. The candidates for Dixon City Council for the November 4, 2014 Election are:

Devon Minnema
