Man, 23, Shot Friday In Fairfield Expected To Survive
The incident was near Grange Middle School.

A 23-year-old man, who was injured in a shooting Friday evening in Fairfield, is expected to survive, police said.
Officers responded at 6:15 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the area of Blossom Avenue and Blossom Court, according to police. The intersection borders the Grange Middle School. Responding officers arrived to find a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound that is not considered life threatening and police said he was transported to the hospital.
Police said the shooting victim could only provide minimal details to investigators.

Blossom Avenue and Blossom Court were closed for roughly an hour while officers canvassed the neighborhood and collected evidence, police said.
