Man Arrested For Allegedly Shooting Another In Leg In Vacaville
The shooting was Monday night.

Vacaville police have arrested a man on suspicion of shooting another man in the leg Monday, a police sergeant said.
Police went to the 700 block of Beelard Drive at 7:50 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting, Sgt. Steve Carey said.
Paramedics treated the victim’s non life-threatening injuries and took the man to the hospital, Carey said. Officers learned the suspect was in an adjacent house and set up a perimeter.

The suspect left the house voluntarily after a short period of time, Carey said. David Charles Fanning, 39, of Vacaville was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, Carey said.
Fanning and the victim were acquainted, Carey said. Police recovered the gun they believe was used in the shooting during a search of Fanning’s residence, Carey said.
