Missing Dixon Teen Found Safe
The 14-year-old was reported missing Sunday and believed to have been possibly heading to Humboldt County where her mother lives. [Breaking]

DIXON, CA β A 14-year-old girl who went missing from Dixon was found safe Tuesday, according to the Dixon Police Department.
"Carissa Codd has been located," the agency said. "As is common in the case of persons who are reported missing, this case is still under investigation. At this time the juvenile has been located by police and is safe."
Carissa, a student at Dixon High School, was last reported seen Sunday and was thought to be heading to Humboldt County where her mother lives, according to the missing person flyer.

Carissa recently moved to Dixon and has not yet made many friends, police said.
The Dixon PD further thanked the community for helping, adding that no additional details would be disclosed at this time.
