North Bay Police Nab Indecent Exposure Suspect

BREAKING: A two month investigation led to the arrest of a 24-year-old who allegedly exposed himself 15 to 20 times.

NORTH BAY, CA -- Police have busted the man they believe is behind multiple indecent exposure incidents that have taken place in the City of Davis' downtown area since November.

Beginning in November 2016, the Davis Police Department received multiple reports of a man driving through the downtown area of Davis exposing himself while masturbating in his car. On some occasions, the suspect pulled up to female victims and masturbated in front of them.

The suspect was described as a white male, about 24 years old, 6'2" tall, 155 lbs., brown hair, green eyes and sometimes unshaven. Victims and witnesses described the suspect’s vehicle as a 2003 light colored Chrysler Voyager Van.

On January 2, 2017, Investigative leads led to the arrest of 24-year-old Darren Dockter of Sacramento, seen in the above photo. Dockter was booked at the Yolo County Jail following his arrest. Information developed during the investigation suggests that 15 to 20 similar incidents occurred in the Davis area.

Police say there are likely additional unidentified victims in the Davis community. A photograph of the vehicle police believe Dockter was driving when he allegedly committed these acts is also available above.
