CHP investigators are still determining why the vehicle left the roadway and are asking any witnesses to contact the Solano Area office with information.
   

4. Dixon Fire Personnel Deploy to Monterey County Wildfires (independentvoice.com) — Dixon residents should know that local firefighters have been deployed to help battle the Timber and Plaskett wildfires in Monterey County as part of a Solano County strike team. Crews from Dixon and neighboring cities are providing structure protection and suppression in steep terrain, underscoring how mutual aid agreements let Dixon support other communities while representing the city in major wildfire responses.
