Pickup Driver Found Dead After Crash In Fairfield

Fairfield police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early this morning.

Police said a pickup truck struck a parked tractor-trailer in the 5000 block of Fulton Drive.

A passerby reported the crash around 5:20 a.m. and the solo occupant of the truck was found dead at the scene, police said.

Fulton Drive is expected to be closed in both directions until midday while police investigate the crash, police said.
