Police Investigate Homicide In Fairfield

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Police in Fairfield are investigating a homicide that occurred Friday night.

Officers responded Friday at 9:52 p.m. to the 500 block of Alaska Avenue on a report of a shooting and located a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was located inside an apartment.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Police have identified the victim as a 26-year-old San Francisco resident. The victim's name has not been released.
