Public Workshop On Planning Around Travis AFB Set For Thursday

Topics to include accommodating region's growth, development, public health and safety, while sustaining base operations.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Area residents are invited to a Sept. 15 workshop regarding sustainability / compatibility planning around Travis Air Force Base.

In order to develop a study and recommendations that are responsive to local needs, input from the community is critical, officials said. The public is encouraged to come and learn more about the TSS process and provide input on the issues to be addressed in the study.

The workshop will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Solano County Events Center, 601 Texas St. in Fairfield.
