Man Arrested On Murder Charges Of Fellow Resident In Solano Co. Group Home
BREAKING: Fairfield police were called to the scene Sunday night where a 29-year-old male was found dead.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – A 33-year-old man in a group home in Solano County was arrested Sunday on murder charges after a man was found dead on the Fairfield property, according to police.
The Fairfield Police Department was called at 7:13 p.m. to the 500 block of Dakota Street on a report of an individual not breathing.
Responding officers found the 29-year-old victim deceased at the facility, which houses a "transitional group home for people who are able to care for themselves with little assistance," police said.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit determined the victim and another resident previously in the evening were involved in a physical altercation that possibly led to the injury-related death, police said.
Salvador Romero was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail for suspicion of homicide and probation violation, the agency said.

The victim’s name was not released, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
