Solano County I-80 Closures Rescheduled: Caltrans

Overnight closures of Interstate Highway 80 near Vacaville have been rescheduled for next week.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Rainy conditions this week prompted Caltrans to postpone nighttime work related to the continuing construction of the new Midway Road Bridge above Interstate Highway 80. Work on the bridge in rural Solano County just east of downtown Vacaville was scheduled to start Tuesday, Nov. 7 but has been rescheduled to begin on Thursday, Nov. 16, Caltrans officials said in a news release.

The work, which involves Caltrans and its contractor installing bridge falsework, requires full nighttime closures of I-80 at Midway Road, Caltrans officials said.
