Teen To Be Tried As Adult In Fatal Shooting Of Dixon Youth
The 16 year old is charged with the Friday murder of 17-year-old Charlie Moore Jr.

A 16-year-old Vacaville boy is being tried as an adult for the fatal shooting of another teen in Dixon on Friday.
Raul Gutierrez-Ayar was charged in Solano County Superior Court on Tuesday with the murder of 17-year-old Charlie Moore Jr. of Dixon. Gutierrez-Ayar did not enter a plea that afternoon and his next court date is May 5, according to court records.
He is being held in Solano County Jail under $5 million bail. Dixon police responded around 8:10 p.m. Friday to a shooting in Northwest Park off of West H Street.

Moore was taken to Kaiser Permanenteβs Vacaville Medical Center, where he died, police said. Gutierrez-Ayar was arrested in Vacaville around 3 p.m. Saturday, police said.
